DDS/PhD program

The DDS/PhD program is developing the next generation of independent researchers in craniofacial, dental and oral health. With guidance from their faculty mentors, trainees pursue novel research that is fundamental to biology and human health.

Supported by a major grant from the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), the Minnesota Craniofacial Research Training (MinnCResT) program provides fellowships to highly qualified postdocs and PhD students across the state, region, and globe.

 MinnCResT is not currently accepting fellowship applications. However, we are accepting DDS/PhD applicants.

Fellowships

Fellowships provide stipends, health insurance, tuition assistance, and child care assistance. No fellowships are currently available.

Research Areas

Faculty mentors and their research areas encompass more than 30 disciplines, ranging from biology, dentistry and neuroscience to genetics, immunology, engineering and many others. Mentors collaborate with DDS/PhD learners throughout their training.
